Will the wedding be outdoors?
The wedding ceremony and reception will be outdoors. The dinner and party will be indoors. There is a space foreseen for you to drop off an extra pair of shoes etc.
What is the climate like on typical day in July?
During the day, it's likely that it'll be sunny and warm (bring your sunglasses and sunscreen). In the evening it might cool down a bit so please bring a coat or jacket just in case you might get cold!
Are there accommodation options around Óbidos ?
Best way to get around?
We recommend flying into Lisbon and using a rental car (Óbidos is a 50 min drive from Lisbon). This will be the most efficient way for you to get around! You can also fly into Porto and drive down (2.5 hours). We'll have 'party buses' available to drive you to and from the venue.
By when should we let you know if we can make it?
It would be great if you could RSVP asap and no later than the end of March 2025.
When is best to start arranging logistics?
There are many accommodation options for all budgets. It's also possible to arrange a holiday house for a larger group around Óbidos. Since beginning of July marks the beginning of "high" season in Portugal, we'd recommend looking into logistics as soon as you can since prices increase towards the summer. If you need help with finding your way, do reach out to us and we're happy to help!
